I am my mama's helper (by Zachary Andika)

Mama is carrying my baby sister in her tummy. Each day Mama's tummy is getting bigger and bigger. There are a lot of work to be done around the house from cleaning,  laundry, cooking you name it and we dont have a house maid like most families in Qatar. I, as the oldest child in the family feel obligated to help mama as much as I could by running errands and assume responsibility for some house chores. I hope my little help could spare mama some rest she deserved.

Lately makin ramai pula kawan-kawan rapat aku di Doha ni yang pulang ke Malaysia for good. Kadang-kadang rasa macam dah tak best pula tinggal di sini bila satu demi satu teman-teman yang rapat pergi. Kalau tak dapat sambung, dan tak dapat peluang-peluang lain di Qatar ni, maknanya aku juga akan menurut jejak langkah teman-teman yang telah mengucapkan 'Maassalamah' pada negeri tumpangan kami ni. Project Ironman Malaysia 2026

  My Target for IMMY 2026 Current CTL Taking a break mid ride I just started my triathlon training last month after a few years of not cycling or swimming. My goal is to finish the Ironman Malaysia 2026 in under 12 hours. I believe this target is realistic with more than a year of training ahead. I am a Master Degree holder and I can brag about it.. at last

I finally received my masters certificate and transcript after almost 6 years. I enrolled in this programme on 9 July 2006 at UTM KL and was only conferred the degree on 6 July 2011. What was supposed to be a 2 year programme was delayed following my relocation from Kuala Lumpur to Lumut, Miri and then to Qatar. The total costs escalated from RM 20k to more than RM 50K. Imagine I had to drive 4 hours from Lumut, fly 2 hours from Miri then 8 hours from Doha to attend classes, seminars and presentations in Kuala Lumpur. It was hard to focus and excel on the studies when you live thousand miles from school. Your chance of success is very slim, much like when you are in a long distance relationship. Call it third time lucky,  I failed my final year thesis twice before I got lucky just to pass the third time. Sometimes I was thinking, was it even worth it?
